An Ode to Screen Printing
Lions, Tigers, and Silkscreens – Oh My!
During my final semester at Samford, I had the opportunity to learn how to screenprint. I was able to go through the entire process – from designing, separating, burning screens, printing screens, and then reclaiming them.
The process was labor intensive and not without its fair share of registration mistakes, but I have a greater appreciation for the printing process and produced work that I am proud of.
STRFKR ( /stɑːrˈfʌk.ɚ/ )
This piece made it into the Bellwethers Annual Juried Exhibition, by juror Josh Breeden!
A poster just as absurd as the band's name, and just as reminiscent of the vibes they bring. I deeply drew inspiration from rock/music posters from the 70s to cultivate the energy in this gig poster for STRFKR.
Someone get me an Aperol Spritz!
Inspired by my time spent studying abroad in Italy, I wanted to create a tote bag that carries the essence of sitting on outside in Rome, sipping on this aperitivo.
A Taste of Athens
This whole semester my leading inspiration was drawn from my time spent in either Italy or Greece. This travel poster for Athens, Greece was mused by ancient black/red-figure pottery.
An Ode to… You.
One of the most bittersweet moments in life is leaving behind a person you've just met. Whether it was a beautiful or upsetting interaction, you carry them with you always, so how wild is that to think about? So, I wrote this ode.
design to elevate.
